Frequently Asked Questions

What age is the NozeBot® designed for?

The NozeBot is designed for all ages (including newborns)!

Is the NozeBot® approved by the FDA?

The NozeBot is a Class 2, 510(k) exempt, medical device that does not require FDA approval or clearance, but the product is registered with the FDA. It is also safety tested and certified by TUV SUD America.

What should I do if my NozeBot® won't charge?

A single, solid green light on the NozeBot indicates the product is not actively being charged when plugged in (you should see a blinking light). Here are a few steps to help resolve this:

  1. Please ensure you are using the white micro-USB charging cable provided with the NozeBot.

  2. If you are using a wall outlet adapter, try charging using a different adapter or different outlet.

  3. Try using the USB port on a laptop or desktop computer to charge the NozeBot. This can help reset the charging behavior.

Please allow your NozeBot to stay connected to the charger for an extended period (minimum 3 hours).

If this doesn't solve your problem, please reach out to our team at hello@drnozebest.com!

Is the NozeBot® HSA/FSA eligible?

Yes! Use those dollars!

Is the NozeBot® safety certified?

The NozeBot is safety tested and certified by TUV SUD America.

Which level of suction should I use?

The NozeBot has three settings: low, medium, and high. All three are safe to use on your child. We recommend starting with the lowest setting to gauge success—use higher settings based on your judgment and the thickness of mucus. Remember, you’re the boss! And feel free to try it out on yourself.

What is the purpose of the filter?

The filter helps to prevent mucus from getting sucked into the tubing and/or pump. (Thank goodness you’re not using your own mouth suction, right?)

Can I clean the nosepiece in the dishwasher?

Yes, the nosepiece is dishwasher safe on the top rack. The filters are disposable.

Do I need to clean the tube?

We recommend soaking the tube in warm, soapy water and/or washing it in the dishwasher (top rack only).

Can the nosepiece be removed from the tubing or is it permanently connected?

The nosepiece can be removed and disassembled to be cleaned, stored, etc.

Are there multiple sizes of the nosepiece?

No, one size will fit all age ranges.

How heavy is the NozeBot®?

The NozeBot weighs about 19 ounces (1.1 lbs).

What size is the NozeBot®?

The housing is 4.8” x 3.7” x 2.4”.
The nosepiece is 3.4” x 2.2” x 0.9”.

It is small enough to fit in a diaper bag for on-the-go use!

How long does the NozeBot® take to charge?

The NozeBot takes approximately 8 hours to fully charge.

How long will the NozeBot® last when charged?

The device has a total run time of approximately 2 hours.

What does the yellow light mean?

What does the red light mean?

How do I know the NozeBot® is charging?
